some paintings roi n i did months ago for our show that never was

this is for a self portraits show in portland (which jason nicely invited me to)

i still dont like this COMPLETELY but at least it feels more naatural than the previous one. i am very impatient and cannot sit through a drawing for more than one day so maybe that's what's preventing these from looking ok.
I also seem to not be able to make a "neutral" self portait as they either turn out either too self loathing or over "enlarged".... (maybe my most accurate self-portrayals could be found in my diary commics..)



also i woke up with you know, that thing when you feel like you need to pee but you dont pee anything? uhhh ggghhh

i got contacted by these poet guys who make a small magazine every 4 months and i'll be illustrating and designing their next 4 numbers! here's the cover for the first one i'm doing that's coming out in december. (it's all duotone)



i also re did my site some weeks ago,.. and we have new stickers at café con leche by harveyjames and studiojfish!
